Who we are
ECOMCITY LTD (company number 14075230), which operates Supplier Risk Radar, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office is Universal Square, Devonshire Street North, Manchester, England, M12 6JH. You can reach us at hello@ecomcity.co.uk.
What we collect
- Details you submit through the demo, waitlist or newsletter forms: name, work email, company, role, industry, supplier-count range and any message you write.
- Your cookie preference, stored in your browser.
- Standard server logs, which may include IP address and browser type.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry — our legitimate interest in replying to someone who asked us to, and to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To send the briefing or handbook you asked for — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site secure and working — our legitimate interest in operating the service.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We use processors for hosting, email delivery and customer records, each bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. TODO: list the named processors once the final stack is chosen.
Where we store it
Data is hosted in the UK or EU. Where a processor operates outside the UK, we rely on an adequacy decision or on International Data Transfer Agreement safeguards. TODO: confirm once hosting and processors are finalised.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become customers: 24 months from last contact.
- Newsletter and waitlist sign-ups: until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days.
- Server logs: 90 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@ecomcity.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you directly where the change is significant.
